Vanderbijlpark - About 200 sheep were killed when the double-decker truck transporting them crashed on the N1 near Vanderbijlpark on Wednesday morning.
"The accident scene was not very pleasant – live sheep on top and between dead sheep, with severely broken legs, jaws and other injuries,” the SPCA Vereeniging and Vanderbijlpark said in a statement on its Facebook page.
