South East APC leaders appeal to President Buhari to support the zoning of the presidency to the region in 2023
South East APC leaders Monday paid a courtesy visit on President Buhari at the state House in  Abuja. The leaders prevailed on President Buhari to
seek a second term in office in 2019. The National Vice Chairman, South East APC Emma Eneukwu, who spokeon behalf of other leaders, appealed to President Buhari to support the zoning of the presidency to the region after his second term expires in 2023.
It is our conviction that  four years is not enough for you to complete this worthy journey hence the need for another four years to enable you make Nigeria truly great. We implore Mr.President, as a just and fair-minded leader, to make history by supporting the zoning of the office of the President in our great party to the South East at the end of your second tenure in office as President in 2023.” he said
 Among the South East leaders were Senator Ken NnamaniSenator Andy UbaSenator Benjamin Uwajumogu and Jim Nwobodo, former Governor of Anambra State.
