Nigerians have taken to Twitter to slam NAFDAC for the ban placed on Emzor pharmaceuticals and two other pharmaceutical companies.


The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, announced that a ban has been placed on Emzor pharmaceuticals Industry Limited, Peace Standard Pharmaceutical Limited, and Bioraj Pharmaceutical Limited. But Nigerians do not agree with their methods and see the ban as using a sledgehammer to kill a fly.

However, a minority are in support of NAFDAC. They say they believe the codeine epidemic calls for strict measures like the one NAFDAC is taking.Read the opinions of Nigerian on Twitter below.
